Workforce software became very good at collecting information. Managers still had to figure out what mattered.
ShiftSideKick is being built around a different question: what does the manager need to understand next? The manager is the hero. ShiftSideKick is the SideKick.
We build software for managers, not databases. Every screen should answer three questions: what needs attention, why, and what should I do next.
Clarity over complexity. Attention over information. Intelligence before automation. Facts before generative AI. Guide, never judge. People first.
We never build a feature because a competitor has it. We build it because a manager needs it. AI should advise quietly. It should not take the week away from the person who is accountable for it.
Simple software. Trusted decisions. Better workdays.
What we will not pretend
- We are not a payroll processor.
- We do not sell black-box autonomous scheduling as current product.
- We do not invent customer counts, ratings, or testimonials.
- Long-range architecture (forecasting, organizational memory, digital twins) informs seriousness. It is not a feature list for this year.
